We aim to preserve and promote Skelmersdale's farming and coal mining heritage and exhibit all aspects of local history at various points around the town, particularly to the younger generation and the influx of new residents since the town's major development.

Yes I remember them very well I attended in fourth year in 1966 and then on to Glenburn when it opened in my fifth year wemoved to Skelmersdale in 1966 I remember Mrs Twist was the school secretary
